DENNIS I. ROBBINS, PhD - President
Dr. Robbins has over thirty years of experience in executive positions in technology-related industries. For the past decade, he has been actively involved in technology-based start-up companies, with a focus on commercialization of university research, venture-capital funding, and government research funding to small businesses. He previously held a variety of executive roles during 24 years at Texas Instruments, including Vice President for worldwide manufacturing operations for TI’s analog and mixed-signal products.
OREN ELIEZER, PhD - Chief Technology Officer
Oren has over two decades of experience in the design and productization of communication systems and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. He was a cofounder and the chief engineer at Butterfly VLSI, which was acquired by Texas Instruments, where he was elected senior member of the technical staff and took part in the development of TI’s Digital Radio Processor (DRP™) technology. He has authored many papers and patents related with transceiver architecture, interference mitigation, and built-in calibration and testing.
BILL BERKOWITZ - Vice President of Sales
Bill has over thirty years of high-tech sales experience including Regional Vice President positions at MCI and Verizon. Bill earned a bachelors degree in Mathematics from UCLA and his career has featured positions in technical consulting and marketing in addition to global sales and service executive leadership.
Tom Jung - Vice President of Engineering
Tom has over twenty years of experience in digital system and integrated circuit design and verification. He has worked on a range of products including SoC designs for Bluetooth, GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, and GPS wireless standards, and small mixed-signal ICs with embedded processors. Before joining Xtendwave in 2010, he held a variety of design and management roles at companies including Texas Instruments and Raytheon. He has a BSEE from Rice University.
NAOFAL AL-DHAHIR, PhD - Senior Technology Advisor
Dr. Al-Dhahir is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas and an IEEE Fellow. Dr. Al-Dhahir has served as a senior member of the technical staff in the Communications Program at General Electric Corporate Research and Development Center and principal member of technical staff at AT&T Shannon Laboratory. He currently directs the Broadband Information Transmission & Signal processing (BITS) Laboratory at UTD.
